DR. MICHAEL HIMLE, PH.D.

Dr. Michael Himle received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007.

He is currently on the faculty in the Department of Psychology at the University of Utah where he teaches and conducts research on understanding and treating Tourette syndrome, tic disorders, and related neurodevelopment disorders.

He has authored multiple research publications and book chapters on these topics and regularly conducts professional trainings for the national Tourette Syndrome Association.

Dr. Himle has received funding from the Tourette Syndrome Association as well as the National Institutes of Health to support his work in these areas.

He is currently the co-director of the University of Utah Tourette Syndrome Center of Excellence.
